Tata Group is a Private Indian multinational company and its headquarter is in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Tata Group was founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1868. The company gained international recognition after purchasing several global companies. Now Tata Group is owned by Tata Sons.

Tata chemical founded in 1938 and it’s headquartered is in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The company is one of the largest Chemical company in India. Tata chemical has been ranked first in 2017 in Responsible Business Ranking developed by IIM Udaipur.
Tata chemical also have its research and development centre in Pune , Maharashtra where company had started its operation in 2004.

This business was founded as “Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited” (VSNL) in 1986 after the Government of India disinvestment of public sector unit in India. VSNL was completely acquired by Tata group and renamed as Tata communication on 13th February 2018.
Tata Communication Service is in worldwide and it’s headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India. TATA Communication network spans more than 500,000 km of subsea fiber and more than 210,000 km of terrestrial fibers.

Tata Consultancy Service is the biggest Indian multinational information technology service and consulting company and it’s headquartered is in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Tata Consultancy Service operates in 149 locations across 46 countries. Tata Consultancy Service is the largest company by market Capitalisation. Tata Consultancy Service is placed among the most valuable IT service brands worldwide TCS is the world’s largest IT, service provider. As of 2018, it is ranked eleventh on the Fortune India 500 list and became the first Indian IT company to reach $100 billion market capitalization. After its market capitalization stood at ₹6,79,332.81 crore ($102.6 billion) on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In 2016-17, Parent company Tata sons owned 72.05% of Tata Consultancy Service.
In Financial year 2019 Q3 TCS announced growth 24% year-on-year rise in profit at ₹8,105 crore.
TCS and its 67 subsidiaries provide a wide range of Information Technology services and products including Application Development, Consulting, Technology Education Service, Software Management, Coma Business Processing, Outsourcing Hardware Sizing, Coma Enterprise, and Payment Processing.
Tata Research Development and Design Center
Tata Consultancy Service established the first software research center in India. Its Research Development and designing center is in Pune, Maharashtra, India set up in 1981. TRDDC undertakes software engineering system Research and processing engineering. TRDDC also develops a low-cost water purifier. This product has been marked in India as Tata Swach, a low-cost water purifier.
TCS is one of the largest private sectors in India. TCS has a total of 4,46,700 employees as of 31st December 2019 in which 37% are women and 21,282 are none Indian nationality which is currently working in TCS.

TATA Consumer Product
Tata Consumer Product is a multinational non-alcoholic beverage company and its headquarter is in Kolkata, West Bengal. India Tata consumer product is the world’s second-largest manufacturer and distributor of tea and major product of coffee. Tata Tea is the biggest selling tea brand in India.
Tata Consumer Product manufactures 7 crores of tea in India and controls 54 tea estates. Tata Consumer Product Limited also produces around 30 million kg of black tea annually.
In 2012, Tata Consumer Product Limited venture into Indian Cafe market in a 50:50 joint venture with Starbucks Coffee Company.

Tata Elxsi was founded in 1979 by Joe Razzi and Thumpy Thomson. It is believed that Elxsi was the first startup founded by an Indian in Silicon Valley, United States of America.
Venture investment in Elxsi included Tata Group (India) and Arthur Rock is an American Businessman and investor. He invested in firms like Intel, Apple Computers, and many more. In 1989, Elxsi left computer business and shifted away from the use of the main computer mainframe in the Global computer industry and the advent of a personal computer. Tata Group kept the name Tata Elxsi but it does not belong to the TATA Group Companies.

Tata Motor was founded in 1945, as of locomotive manufacture (A locomotive or engine is a rail transport vehicle that provides the motion power of a train). Tata Motor entered the vehicle sector in 1954 after forming a joint venture with Mercedes Benz. After dominating the commercial vehicle market in India. Tata Motor enter in a passenger vehicle in 1991 by launching the Tata Sierra.
Now, Tata Motor manufactures truck, bus, coaches, Military vehicle, Passenger car, sports car, and vans.

Tata Motor purchase the English Premium car maker company Jaguar and Land Rover automotive PLC (maker of Land Rover and Jaguar car) from Ford Motors Company in June 2008. Under this ownership, Jaguar and Land Rover has launched a new vehicle included Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Discovery, Range Rover Velar, Range Rover L405, Jaguar F-type, Jaguar XJ, Jaguar XE, and Jaguar XF.
Tata Fiat is an Indian based joint venture between Tata and Fiat automobile which produce Passenger car as well as engine and transmission. Tata Motor has gained access to Fiat diesel engine and transmission technology through the joint venture. The distribution management was end in March 2013 .Fiat have been since distributed in India by Fiat Motor India Limited.
Tata Hitachi construction machinery
Tata Hitachi construction machinery is a joint venture between Tata Motor and Hitachi which manufacture excavators and other construction equipment.
Tata Marcopolo is a bus manufacturing joint venture between Tata Motors (51%) and Brazil-based Marcopolo (49%). This joint venture manufactures and assembles fully built buses and coaches. It uses technology and expertise in chassis and aggregate from Tata Motor and known how it process and system and bus design by Marcopolo. It’s a manufacturing facility is based in Dharwad.
Tata Motors European Technical Centre
TATA Motors European Technical Centre is an automotive design, engineering, and Research Company based at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) on the campus of the University of Warwick in Great Britain.
In 2008, Tata Motors has unveiled electric versions of the Tata Indica Passenger car powered by TM4 electric motor and inverter, as well as Tata Ace commercial vehicle both of which runs on lithium ion battery.
